His Uncle Allen Russell played a pivotal role in bringing professional baseball to Houston, and an award in his name honors many Houston Astros baseball greats.
He grew up playing Little League baseball, pitching in the regional championship, and has a lifelong passion for sports, especially golf. He usually has his clubs in his truck.
His professional career transitioned to construction, where his detail-oriented skills honed commercial and residential projects.
